Let attendance at the Brisbane FOGS Expo be your recipe for success

Australia’s next MasterChef could be discovered at the 2010 Brisbane FOGS Indigenous Employment and Careers Expo next week.

Cooking will be one of many jobs which Indigenous job seekers and school leavers can try at the expo, courtesy of Worldskills Try’a Trade. Brisbane’s Indigenous community will have the opportunity to try their hand at skills required for jobs in the construction, electrical, hair and beauty as well as hospitality industries.

Indigenous Queenslanders looking to secure their future will enjoy the unique opportunity to connect with Rugby League royalty through activities such as making a picture frame, building a brick wall, linking an electrical circuit or icing a cake.

The Brisbane 2010 FOGS Indigenous Employment and Careers Expo will be held at Suncorp Stadium next Wednesday 15 September from 9am to 2pm with FREE ENTRY.
