We were extremely sad to hear that Jharal Yow Yeh has announced his retirement from Rugby League.

Unfortunately, with an injury of the magnitude he sustained two years ago, there was little more he could have done to fully recover from it. It was always going to be a tough battle, even with the 120% effort that Jharal put in.

As a former Origin player, Jharal has been involved with FOGs in our Achieving Results Through Indigenous Education Academy (ARTIE), and our Indigenous Employment and Careers Expos, and always proved a great ambassador and inspiration for his Mob.

It is imperative that a person of Jharal’s character and professionalism is not lost to Rugby League, and we at FOG’s will be doing our part to ensure that he stays involved.
