State of Origin is the pinnacle event on the Rugby League calendar, the three match series, the greatest interstate rivalry, state against state, mate against mate.
The FOGS Annual Charity Lunch is back as the preceding event to State of Origin Game One in 2017. After successfully hosting the renowned annual event for well over 10 years, FOGS is pleased to once again hold their event at the home of Rugby League in Queensland, Suncorp Stadium, on the eve of what marks the interstate rivalries 38th series, Tuesday, 30 May 2017.
The event enables the organisation to celebrate the feat State of Origin is, the greatest interstate rivalry this country has ever seen. During the course of the lunch, together we will reflect on, and honour the incredible achievements of the men who have donned the Maroon jersey and represented our state with pride and passion.
Join us as we celebrate the start of the 38th series as Queensland and New South Wales meet to battle out Australia’s most anticipated sporting event and be part of the Queensland spirit, the state that lives and breathes Rugby League.
